In 1930’s, during an expansion of the building of the distinguished gentleman’s club-De Littéraire Sociëteit De Witte- in the Hague, the Interior was modernised. The architect j. Limburg chose to use a sober Art-Deco style with furniture of Pander and lighting by Gispen. For the entrance with monumental staircase Willem Gispen designed lighting ornaments and this large chandelier.
