This lamp has become an icon of constructivist design from the interwar period and, due to the involvement of the architect JJP Oud, is also seen as one of the few lamps that were created under the influence of the aesthetic movement ‘De Stijl’

The design is represented in the permanent collections of several leading museums. We previously sold a copy to the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, USA, but a copy is also included in the collections of the MOMA in New York and the Boijmans Museum in Rotterdam.
