Set of two identical modernist table lamps consisting of four cylinders made of chrome plated brass and glass.
Designed by the Dutch designer W.H. Gispen in 1931.
Executed by Gispen’s NV Rotterdam-Culemborg 1931-1938
Chrome plated brass, glass cylinders, 15 x 40 cm.
Marked at the glass cylinders with a stamp: “GISO Marque deposé”
Although these lamps were made in series, they are extremely rare.
So far, only these two copies are known to have survived.
One of the lamps has a built-in switch of a later date.
