One hundred years ago the Dutch Designer W.H. Gispen founded his eponymous company in 1916. To celebrate this centennial a major role was given to the works of this leading Modernist in our presentation on the fair this year.

Photo: Piet Gispen -grandson of W.H. Gispen- with Ad van den Bruinhorst next to a very rare Gispen music stand once owned by Antoinette Gispen, daughter of W.H. Gispen. After we purchased the stand from grandson Piet we sold it to a passionate Gispen collector at the pre-opening of the fair
